Accessibility Statement
We build interfaces for a living, so it would be difficult to defend an inaccessible website. This statement describes what we have done and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
Standard we aim for
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We consider this website substantially conformant, and we treat any gap as a defect rather than a nice-to-have.
What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with a single logical heading order per page.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation, the service pages and the AI assistant.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, never removed.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Text and interface color contrast checked against the WCAG AA thresholds.
- Support for the operating system's reduced-motion preference: decorative animation, the background field and scroll reveals are disabled when it is set.
- Text that reflows and remains readable when zoomed to 200%.
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, described errors, and validation messages that are announced rather than color-coded alone.
- Decorative graphics marked as such so screen readers skip them.
Known limitations
The animated field behind the home page hero is decorative and conveys no information; it is hidden from assistive technology and disabled under reduced-motion settings. The AI assistant is operable by keyboard, announces new messages to screen readers, and is clearly identified as software rather than a person. We have tested with current versions of the major browsers and with keyboard navigation. We have not yet completed an independent third-party audit.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, email operations@realmai.us with the page address and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as defects and will tell you what we intend to do about it.
